Virgin Games Uses TV Advertising

Virgin Games recently put a million dollars into a television advertising campaign.

With parent company Virgin developing their space travel tours, Virgin Games has developed and launched a TV advertising campaign that focuses on bringing the ordinary citizen to space.

The twenty second commercial also discusses the new games that Virgin Casino is introducing every week.

Oliver Wilson, manager of Casino Acquisitions for Virgin, said "We had such a fantastic response from our first Virgin Bingo advert launched last year that we decided that this was the right way to go for Virgin Casino. Bingo received a 100 per cent increase in player registrations on the back of the first adverts aired late last year and this evidence suggests it makes absolute sense for TV to play a significant part in the marketing mix for the casino product".

A beta run for two weeks will test the consumer response to the commercial in the UK, after which the commercial is expected to get coverage throughout the United Kingdom.
