Best Website Performance and Best Mobile Performance now part of EGR Operator Awards
With the 2010 EGR Operator Awards around the corner organizers have decided to add two more categories: Best Website Performance and Best Mobile Performance. While most categories will be judged by a jury the two new, special categories will have a different assessment process.
Nominees will be judged by Gomez, a website performance monitoring firm. The nominees will be web sites of those online and mobile gaming operators already nominated for the other award categories.
The testing for the website award will be based on both performance and availability while mobile gaming operators will be tested on both android and iPhone devices.
"Gomez is delighted to be involved with the launch of these two new categories at this year's EGR Operator Awards,” said David Flower, Vice President for Gomez EMEA. “We are very much looking forward to the Awards, and celebrating the winners' achievements."
RakeTheRake, SportyTrader, PokerStrategy.com, Digital Prophets and Little Star Media are affiliates that have been short listed for awards, all in multiple categories.
The Awards ceremony will be held Wednesday November 24, at The Artillery Garden at the HAC in London.
