Harrah’s Pays Off Injured Bystanders

Crunch Casino Staff - 8 Nov 2010

After jury support for injured bystanders Harrah's Laughlin has decided to settle.

When a gang war broke out at Harrah's Laughlin in 2002 it left three people dead and five bystanders injured. After the injured took the casino to court a jury recently found the casino liable for damages.

Two days after the civil court jury for the plaintiffs the casino decided to settle.

The attorney for the bystanders, Brent Bryson, confirmed the settlement but did not reveal how much the settlement was for.

The case was based on the argument that Harrah's Laughlin officials knew trouble was coming when Hell's Angels and Mongols motorcycle gang members arrived for a motorcycle rally and then launched into a battle with knives and guns.
