Casino plans to woo RV owners

RV owners are the target of the marketing concerns of a casino investor group in PA.

One of a handful of investor groups vying for a casino license in Pennsylvania has its eyes on RV owners as part of its profit plan. The Penn Harris Gaming group hopes to appeal to RV owners looking for a fun adventure.

A Holiday Inn in suburban Harrisburg may become a $75 million casino if the Penn Harris Gaming group’s plans come to fruition.

The company plan to adjoin a six-acre RV parking lot to the casino. As the casino has a 275-room minimum according to State law, 36 RVs owned by the casino would be permanently parked to act as hotel rooms.

Some Las Vegas casinos are already trying to lure RV owners according to Investor John Donnelly.

Pennsylvania's last resort casino license will allow up to 600 slot machines and 50 table games. Penn Harris is competing with three other companies for the license.
