A man who banned himself from Pennsylvania casinos won a jackpot he can’t collect.

A 55-year-old man in Pennsylvania banned himself from the state's casinos, which became a problem when he won a $2,001 jackpot. The Pennsylvania State Police gaming enforcement office isn’t going to let him keep the money because he had banned himself under a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board program designed to help gambling addicts.

The man hit the jackpot at the Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, Pennsylvania but police said the man forfeited his winnings. Not only does he not get to keep the money, he will now face a summary criminal trespass charge.

1,351 Pennsylvania residents have registered for the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board program.
